Chef Dan Elliot is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a native of Virginia. His passion for local, sustainable cuisine sparked during his time under Duvall’s former Executive Chef Matt Green has been one of the driving forces behind his refined Southern cuisine. His professional experience covers an array of cooking styles – from Asian to Mediterranean, in a variety of venues, from resorts to intimate inns.
Since joining Duvall in 2014, Dan and his culinary team have created incredible food experiences for an array of events. Whether he is preparing Charleston home cooking for private dinner parties with the Lee Brothers or creating and delivering a custom four course served dinner for 860, Dan and his team work to ensure every bite is worth savoring.
Pastry Chef Cassi Hibbett is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America who has had a passion for baking and pastry since childhood. She came to Duvall after a three-year stint at BCakeNY where she enjoyed creating cakes for Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones and more. She loves playing with nostalgia in her creations and favors modern and bohemian designs. Cassi excels in the confectionary arts and special occasion cakes but also has great skill in artisan and quick bread and pastry production. Her attention to the sweet side of Duvall balances the other savory characters in our kitchen.
